Since starting eFounders — 6 years and 12 startups ago— we’ve presented ourselves as a startup studio. At that time, the concept of startup studio was almost unknown and ambiguous. In the last 5 years, we’ve evangelized the concept of the startup studio in order to make people understand what we do and how we differentiate ourselves strongly from other existing models like accelerators, incubators or investors. We’ll continue to evangelize the startup studio model and to claim our entrepreneurial mindset and our role as a founder.
From now on, however, we think it is time to go a step further. To stop identifying ourselves by the structure we adopted. To focus instead on the vision we have: what we are doing everyday and that towards which we are heading.
In the last 6 years, we’ve created more than 12 startups from scratch. 12 times we have started from a blank page and imagined what the future of work should look like according to us. Inventing a new service is not only about developing a new application that solves a problem but also defining new ways of working together.
At eFounders, we are not building applications we are building companies. A company is above all a team of people working together with the same purpose. Imagining the future of work is not only defining a purpose but also thinking about the way people will work together in the future.
At eFounders, we have the opportunity to invent both tomorrow’s tools and tomorrow’s ways of working together, we have the chance to imagine our future of work…
The future of work is free.
Greater portability will enable escaping the desk. More options for remote working will enable escaping the office. By promoting more independence, the future of work will make people more entrepreneurial.
The future of work is collective.
More collaboration will achieve greater efficiency through joint expertise, shared knowledge and pooled resources. By enabling more team spirit and greater cohesion, the future of work will spawn excellence.
