Backstory

I lead our Health activities at Hexa, bringing over 15 years of tech industry experience, including nine years as a C-level at Doctolib. My belief is simple yet profound: making incremental changes to existing care systems (slightly more doctors, slightly better softwares) won't solve healthcare's biggest challenges. The future lies in creating entirely new care pathways, designed around innovation rather than tradition.

At Hexa, I’m dedicated to empowering founders and medical professionals to build companies that give time back to the healthcare system. Together, we reimagine care by focusing on what matters most—giving patients the care they truly need and equipping doctors with the tools to deliver it. It’s not just about improving healthcare; it’s about reinventing it from the ground up.

What he looks for in founders

I’m drawn to founders who are passionate about reshaping healthcare through innovation. You don’t need to be a medical professional to launch a company with me—what matters is your ability to navigate the complexities of such a regulated sector and your drive to bring transformative solutions to life.

I value founders who combine bold ambition with a deep sense of purpose. The healthcare industry demands resilience, clarity of vision, and the ability to inspire teams, investors, and stakeholders. Concretely, I look for founders who are:

  1. Multi-skilled and agile: you’re not only a tech expert; you also excel in areas such as operations, talent management, and navigating regulated environments.
  2. Purpose-driven: you are deeply committed to the mission of improving lives and creating meaningful impact.
  3. Smart and energetic: people want to work with and learn from you because of your curiosity, energy and ability to lead.
  4. Balanced: you understand the critical nature of healthcare, but you balance rigor with the ability to foster a pressure-free team culture.
  5. Impact-oriented: you know how to prioritize so that you focus on high-impact work that build for the long-run.

Areas of interests and ideas

AI-native medical software

While SaaS has transformed most industries, healthcare software remains stubbornly rooted in on-premise solutions, which still command over 80% market share. The vision is to create medical software that's more intelligent, more intuitive, and more integrated than legacy systems, while meeting the stringent security and compliance requirements of healthcare organizations. With tens of thousands of professionals, such as dentists, nurses, and pharmacies, spending hours and hours on time-consuming admin on their screens, this is where the opportunity lies.

Longevity tech

The future of healthcare lies in prevention, not just treatment. We're looking for founders who can create scalable, engaging solutions that make longevity accessible and habitual. The winning companies will combine four critical elements: affordable pricing that enables mass adoption, scientifically validated therapeutic impact, clever gamification for long-term engagement, and AI-powered personalization. The opportunity is to move beyond wellness gadgets to create comprehensive systems that measurably improve health outcomes and extend healthy lifespans.

Redesigned care pathways

Healthcare is facing a time crisis, with both providers and patients suffering from inefficient, outdated processes. We believe the solution isn't just to optimize existing pathways – it's to create entirely new ones. We're looking for founders, especially those with medical backgrounds, who can reimagine how care is delivered from the ground up. The opportunity is to build systems that dramatically improve both the provider and patient experience while maintaining or enhancing care quality. This goes beyond telemedicine or digital health records; we want to see fundamental reimagining of how healthcare services are structured, delivered, and experienced.
