Backstory
I’m a Partner at Hexa with a strong focus on AI. Over the past 12+ years, I’ve built products from the ground up, co-founded an all-in-one customer success platform, and advised several SaaS and consumer startups. Now, I’m dedicated to build the next wave of AI-first products with formidable entrepreneurs at Hexa.
AI is a massive shift. It’s transforming how we interact with technology and reshaping the entire landscape of opportunity. There’s never been a better time in history to build something truly groundbreaking. It’s exciting because there’s so much to reinvent and learn. Two years ago, building AI products was unknown territory, so we had to figure it out. Many can close a POC; but few can bridge the gap from experimentation to production. I’ve done it twice, with Dialog and Tandem. That experience gives us an edge, enabling us to move faster than teams tackling this challenge for the first time.
Each week, I write a newsletter exploring these paradigm shifts in AI.
I’m deeply committed to the founders I partner with, sharing their day-to-day journey to PMF. This means being fully hands-on building the product and closing the first clients. If you talk with founders, they will tell you that I can be a bit obsessive about building a product that is truly outstanding and stands from the competition, but I believe this is what it takes to create a exceptional company. That’s what I aim to do with every company I start.
What he looks for in founders
The first thing I look for is their ability to build and nurture a great team. The success of any company ultimately hinges on the people behind it. Through my experience at Hexa, partnering with companies of diverse sizes and cultures, I’ve seen how a strong team can define a company’s trajectory. Founders who are intentional about hiring and building a cohesive, high-performing team set the foundation for long-term success.
I also value founders with a strong sense of urgency—the drive to act fast and focus on what truly matters. With clear goals and excellent execution, it’s possible to achieve extraordinary things in a matter of months. Founders who embrace this mindset move faster and turn their ambitious visions into reality.
Areas of interests and ideas
As AI agents increasingly perform autonomous actions, we need to build new infrastructure to enhance their performance. This includes systems for payments, data management, and human oversight. For example, Coinbase AI wallets will enable AI agents to pay autonomously to get through paywalls, use paid APIs, subscribe to services, etc. We are currently identifying opportunities to reduce friction for these AI agents and prepare businesses for this new era.
As ChatGPT and Perplexity searches gain ground over Google, brands need to track their visibility and conversion rates on these AI platforms. A new analytics category will emerge to help brands manage their digital presence and messaging in the AI era—think Google Analytics, but for AI-powered searches.
Voice technology is approaching a tipping point where it will become a primary interface for professional work. We believe the next wave of productivity gains will come from voice-native applications that go beyond simple dictation to enable complex task completion and workflow management. We're looking for founders who understand both the technical challenges and human factors in voice interfaces, and who can create experiences that feel natural while delivering real productivity gains.
We are building a specialized voice AI that handles the first customer phone calls for service businesses. AI can now handle first-level phone conversations—answering questions, routing calls, and scheduling appointments — the solution integrates directly with systems like ERPs and CRMs, using industry-specific data to ensure high accuracy.
At RecruitmentX, we want to reinvent recruitment by leveraging a verticalized voiced AI. Our solution enhances every interaction between recruiters and candidates, enabling recruiters to focus fully on candidates while we handle the rest.
We're interested in AI agents that transform internal organizational workflows, focusing on the complex, repetitive processes that currently consume significant human capital. These agents are designed to operate entirely within a company's existing systems, optimizing internal operations that are currently manual, fragmented, or inefficient. We're looking for founders who can build AI agents that integrate deeply with a company's specific software ecosystem, enabling intelligent automation that goes beyond simple task completion to even improve how its currently done.
We aim to build an AI workspace for life sciences companies to automate internal processes. Initially, it will help pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotech companies automate the creation of regulatory and compliance documents, with plans to streamline more processes over time.
