Boost employee engagement and happiness with peer recognition. Briq was an internal token system that we built to give each other a kudos and build team spirit. The problem we were solving turned out to be much broader and impacted companies far and wide. Briq was born.

People enthusiastic with a strong background in entrepreneurship & HR strategy, Charlène joined Briq to launch the adventure for real and bring the product to market fit.

Laurent Van Basselaere

Cofounder

A two-time entrepreneur with a strong 10+years expertise in tech and product development, Laurent joined eFounders in 2016 before launching Briq as part of our 2018 batch of startups.

Jérémie Sicsic

Cofounder

With an impressive track record in B2B sales for big organizations, Jérémie was the perfect fit to complete the founding team and bring Briq to the next level.

The Briq team succeeded in building a comprehensive tool to boost engagement in a concrete way and got acquired by Swile in 2020 to put employee engagement at the forefront.

2020

Briq gets acquired by Swile to put employees first at scale.

2018

Briq becomes an independent eFounders project and joins the eF18 batch. Charlene Thouard, Jeremie Sicsic and Laurent Van Basselaere join as co-founders.

2015

Briq is born as an internal virtual currency tool for the eFounders team to give each other kudos and show recognition.
